Favorite patient story: "Many years ago, a young man came to our office with attention needed for almost every tooth in his mouth. He had long, straggly hair to go with his rough appearance. When he came in for a cleaning after his dental treatment was complete, he had cut his hair and transformed his life. I will never forget what quality dental care can do for a person."

Working with Dr. Mason: "I have been enjoying dentistry for twenty-six years, and have been with Dr. Mason for the past three. Favorite patient story: "I have so many great stories! We have a patient who has been with us for nearly thirty years. Every time he comes in, he is so full of life and energy and is all smiles. (It doesn't hurt that he brings in a box of See's Candy nearly every time he comes!) He drives all the way from Cupertino to be with us."

Working with Dr. Mason: "My connection with all the patients. I want them to feel special and their needs are my first priority."

has been in dentistry for five-and-a-half years. She lives in Concord.
Working with Dr. Mason: "What's great about dentistry is that you can work in healthcare, but still have a close relationship with your patients. I love that you can take a field with such a bad reputation and have your patients still fall in love with what you do."
Favorite patient story: "When I first started I met a patient with so much fear of dentistry, he would be dripping sweat in the chair. By being personable with him, taking care of his needs, and becoming a friend, he was able to let go and finally trust that he was in good hands. To know that you can contribute to the well-being of another person is incredibly rewarding."

Working with Dr. Mason: "I love helping patients improve their oral health, and when some fearful patients say that they had the best experience. I can't explain how I feel when I hear this."
Favorite patient story: "When I joined Dr. Mason's family (office), a fearful patient didn't want me to anesthetize her, but Dr. Mason had faith and trust in me, and told the patient, 'Fariba uses the same techniques I use.' This meant the world to me. I am very lucky to have Dr. Mason as my boss, because I am learning something every day from her, and that helps me care for our patients the same way she does."
